To the guy that hit me and knocked me down...

To the guy that hit me and knocked me down, causing my left ski to come off at Palisades Tahoe on Thursday January 8th about noon: I’m sorry I yelled at you. I went by that same patch of ice right before you slipped on it. I could have slipped on it too. The great thing is, neither one of us got injured. I’m sorry it took me over four days to figure out I was wrong for being so mad. My only excuse is I was broadsided by a 6 year old kid that was skiing where he shouldn’t have been in 2022 at Sun Valley Resort. My left ACL was torn. Physical therapy, surgery, endless exercise, all just to get back on the mountain. I learned the key for me is to stay all the way to the left or right side of the run, to give others tons of room, and to do my very best to stay in control at all times. My wish is that we can all stay in control and give each other some space. Have fun and be safe out there!
