Hello and welcome to USWEST.SKI. My name is John Rowe and I love to ski! This website is all about the Ski/Ride Resorts located in the Western United States. Last winter, 2024 I used my Mountain Collective pass to ski at all eleven of the pass’s Western U.S. Ski Resorts and I had a great time!

This winter I have a Mountain Collective and the Military Epic pass (I’m a USAF Veteran). My plan is to go back to all 11 of the resorts I visited last year, and I will also check out several other Epic Ski Resorts along the way – Yeehaw!

Back in March 2022 I got hit by a six year old kid at Sun Valley on Baldy’s Cut Off run. The accident left me with a completely torn ACL, a torn MCL and a smashed meniscus. It was a total drag, but after pre-surgery physical therapy and daily home work therapist directed exercise, I had surgery in June 2022.

Lucky for me, the highly experienced Sports Medicine Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Peter G. Gerbino II MD performed my ACL surgery. Then after more physical therapy and more daily home work therapist directed exercise taking massive effort, I’m finally okay now, and can ski again. Skiing is not quite as easy as it used to be and I now prefer green and blue runs, but I still love it, Yeehaw!
